The walking dead Ep. 6

Last episode of the season show us how the virus works, but it didn’t had a name or explained why after the subject died has the need to feed.
Every one was really happy in CDC headquarters, they had a nice dinner, took a shower with hot water, feel safe and like a family, they even got drunk,  but it didn’t last, CDC building was programmed  to destruct itself in case of a massive fail down power. Our adventure group was trap in a deadly building inside a deadly world filled by ZOMBIES, could things get worst?
CDC was automatically starting to shut down, there’s no way out, but as usual, our hero saved the day, Rick convinced Dr. Jenner to let them out, saving everyone.
The big questions now are:

  • What told Dr. Jenner to Rick before he leave?
  • Where to go?
  • What to do?
  • How long till we are all dead?

The finale of the season left us lot of questions without answer, where’s Merle? Or explain a little bit more about the virus, why did Amy take so long while the other infected people only took them 2-4 hours.
Guess we will have to wait until next season to find out or not….maybe there’s a ZOMBIE outbreak before that, but at least we know a little bit more about ZOMBIES than they do.

The walking dead Ep. 5

I was 20 min looking at the “paper” before I started to write something, I don’t know where to begin. I think I will start with RULES, is quite clear that these survivors didn’t have any basic rules driving everyone to take their own choices, which could lead to endanger the entire group.

If someone is bitten by a ZOMBIE or killed by a ZOMBIE, there’s nothing else to discuss, one shot to the head and that’s it, why put in danger everyone else?

–          Why Amy took so long to turn into a ZOMBIE? Does this mean that after you get bitten by a ZOMBIE and die your whole body needs to transform and this transformation takes that long?
The first two minutes when Amy woke into a ZOMBIE she looked at Andrea like she knew her and it seems Amy look sad, like she was trying to fight the ZOMBIE hunger, was this my imagination or it was true? Anyway, Andrea should shot Amy after she died, putting everybody in danger after ZOMBIES attacking the camp was really stupid of her.

–          Jim was bitten and he didn’t tell anybody, Jacqui was lucky to realize he was bitten. This kind of things only deserve on punishment. One to the head.
I know you will think I’m too cruel or have no moral, but in the land of the dead rules for surviving makes everything and someone that put you group and your family at risk should be left alone or killed. Daryl is totally right, 0 tolerance for walkers.

–          Shane disagree with Rick on getting to CDC, not having ONE leader makes decision much harder when you got a group that big and with kids.
He almost did it, we almost saw the end of Rick when Shane was ready to shoot him but Dale is always around, he knows everything and he is everywhere.

–          Moving out of the camp was a great idea, you can’t stay in the same place after it was attacked by ZOMBIES, first time shame on ZOMBIES, second time you are a MORON.

–          Rick knows that there are still guys like Merle out there, but to try and save Morgan, he leaves messages and sends out radio broadcasts that any scumbag can (and likely will) follow right to the camp.  He insists on dragging Jim to the CDC when it’s obvious the CDC doesn’t have any sort of a cure.  When leading a group of people to the CDC, he has a freak-out right in the middle of a zombie attack, which makes sense as he’s had a rough few days, but still, ZOMBIE attack.

In the end, they got to CDC and we saw the doors opening, next week last episode of the season TS-19.

The Walking dead Ep. 4 “Vatos”

“Guns are worth more than gold. Gold won’t protect your family”.

Fourth episode “Vatos” was all about Moral Code.

Everyone was expecting a blood bath and we got to see how good Daryl and Rick are.
The episode explains how everybody turns out to kill anyone and take whatever they need, but there are always good people.
Glenn saved the day again taking the guns, but he was kidnap by the Vatos.
After a little talk between Grimes, Daryl and the Vatos we found not to judge a book by its cover.
The “Vatos” group turns out to be helping old people regardless of the ZOMBIE apocalypse and all they want was the guns to protect and gather medicine for the old people.
Daryl wasn’t as bad as everyone thought and put his life on the line to save Glenn and Rick giving half of the guns to the Vatos, everyone was happy and with clean conscious (?).
We got someone who saw a glimpse of the future and lost his mind, starting to dig holes all around, everyone thought he lost his mind or was because of the heat.
In the end we got Rick’s truck was gone, Merle was still missing and the camp was invaded by the walkers taking Amy’s life with them, this will change everything for the Camp.
After an amazing run, Rick and the group arrived at the exact moment to save everyone.

There are some questions that I have:

  • Would you give up your Weapons to save someone’s life?
  • Why Amy didn’t turn into a ZOMBIE after getting bitten and die?
  • Will Merle take revenge?
  • If someone starts screaming like that Mexican kid, would you ask him to shut up or just put a bullet in his head?

Next episode “Wildfire”.

The Walking Dead Ep.3

The third episode was totally different, almost we didn’t saw action.
It was about how to live in a community, rules and decisions.

  • Gather Supplies.
  • Manage Supplies.
  • Secure Perimeter.
  • Moral Code.
  • Everyone has a role to play.

This shows you how easy things can turn pretty bad between humans even in ZOMBIE apocalypse times. It’s really hard to follow rules when you have lost everything.
3 things made this episode:

  • Rick Grimes: getting together with his family but Lori is so ashamed of hooking with Shane nobody knows what will happen.
  • Shane Walsh kicking so idiot ass after hitting her wife, you can’t mess with your wife, totally deserved.
  • Merle Dixon: abandoned in the roof, walkers trying to get in no matter what, so, what’s the only choice? Cut your hand with a handsaw instead of cutting the handcuffs……really?

Next week will know how this goes on.

The Walking Dead Ep.2

Compared to the first episode, this one GOT IT ALL.
Brains, Blood, Sex, Fights, Shooting, Team up, Cars….

I have so much to say from this episode, I don’t know where to start.
Plot twists, new characters, conflicts and Grimes chopping a ZOMBIE with an axe.
Let’s talk about ZOMBIES first, in this episode we realized they are not just as dumb as they look

  • They get excited by food and start running.
  • They use tools and weapons.
  • They climb fences and overcome complex obstacles.
  • They communicate by moaning.
  • They hunt prays by smell and noise.

All this concludes that ZOMBIES are able to learn….WE ARE FUCKED.
Now is time for the humans…New characters appears, Glenn was one of the best with Grimes, both of them teamed up doing amazing things.

  • Grimes shooting headshots and running at the same time.
  • Group of survivors with a strategy for surviving.
  • Conflict between survivors.
  • Everyone had a role and they know what to do.
  • Grimes chopping a ZOMBIE with an axe and then using it to cover their human smell.
  • Imitating a zombie to escape.
  • Busting cars.

I really enjoyed this episode, wish the next one keeps me thrill as much as this one.

Dead Set (2008, TV mini-series)

Director: Yann Demange.
Writer: Charlie Brooker.
Cast: Jennifer Aries (Sophie), Raj Gathak (Grayson), Shelley Conn (Claire), Cavan Clerkin (Dennis), Elyes Gabel (Danny).
Synopsis: During a fictional series of Big brother, zombie apocalypse begins, but our characters don’t know about it, they are trap in the house, without knowing what’s really going on the outside.
Review: AMAZING mini-series, from the beginning you get the thrill of this stupid big brother cast that doesn’t even know how to make a burger. Really GORE series, so be careful if a kid is watching this, he will dream about zombies for the rest of his life. Really good story and it’s a short one, only 5 episodes. It‘s really an amazing example of what NOT to do in case of a ZOMBIE apocalypse.
ZOMBIE Points: 4 ZOMBIE Points, don’t miss it, you won’t regret watching it.

The Walking Dead (2010, Tv)

Something really weird happened yesterday, i was surfing the web as usual, everything looks the same as every other day, scrolling down I saw something I couldn’t believe, in a split I thought “what I saw isn’t real, just keep going” and so I did, after downloading a couple of ZOMBIE movies (that I will post later) I scrolled again to see if my eyes were going to cheat me again, and there it was….a torrent file I been waiting for months and again my brain thought “this can be real, must be fucking FAKE, let’s see the comments on the torrent”, one click after that I was jumping like a six year old kid with a new Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and a 52’’ FULL HD LCD, laughing and crying at the same time, almost crap in my pants too.
It wasn’t a joke, it wasn’t fake, it was REAL and it was waiting for me to download.
LADIES AND GENTLEMAN……11 days before worldwide release I got to see the first episode of: The Walking Dead.
I was just out of my mind, amazing production, nice story and our beloved ZOMBIES everywhere.
I really wish you enjoy it as much as I did and I hope I could see episode 2 before air date too, hahaha.
